Below are photos of the new armbase assembly of all Scheu tonearms.  With this new armbase assembly, the Classic arm is now in its MK2 version.  The assembly is totally new from the original.  It not only looks better, it functions better as well.  This assembly is the same one used in the higher model Scheu Cantus and Scheu Tacco tonearms.

A - That's a Thorens Q-Up auto armlift, no longer in production

B - a hex bolt to lock the metal bar which holds the thread of the anti-skate weight

C - The holder of the metal bar which holds the thread of the anti-skate weight

D - The acrylic sub-assembly.  This assembly can be manually adjusted by loosening #E.

       One can rotate this sub-assembly left or right, or move it up or down.

E - Screw to lock sub-assembly (#D) to the arm pillar (#F)

F - Arm pillar

G - VTA screw.  Insert an allen key to loosen and move arm pillar (#F) manually up or down
