Update: Feb 2006

Before the upgrade, YC was hesitant to move up higher, as he really loved the system as it was, enjoying it tremendously.  After all, to quote the age-old adage, "if it ain't broke, why fix it ?"  But he has heard the Living Voice OBX-R2 loudspeakers before, and knew that it can only be a step up in quality over his beloved Living Voice Auditorium 2 loudspeakers.

UHF magazine's opinion sums up our view on the Living Voice OBX-R2 - "This is one of the world•s great speakers, and certainly one of the greatest to have such a small physical footprint. It will reproduce nearly anything you can throw at it with grace and respect for musical virtues."  And although the Living Voice Auditorium 2 could do these as well and make many speakers sound lethargic, the Living Voice OBX-R2 ups the ante by several degrees in the areas of transparency and resolution, as well as timbre and tonality of true reference quality.

And with the Lavardin Technologies IT amplifier, which even our overseas suppliers have fallen in love with, this combination is one of our best offerings, among the topmost in our system hierarchy, regardless of price.
