Kondo's only
cartridge, a statement by itself. In April, 1981, the original IO made its
debut in the Danish market. In October, 1992 it was launched from England after
a technology transfer to the UK distributor then.
And, now IO is again
being produced back home in Japan. It is now called Kondo IO-j ("j"
stands for Japan). At the same time, the IO-j has been improved
even further based on new developments in Kondo Japan.

Kondo lO-j
draws out of your analogue discs (records) richer string tonality, more real
soundstage, more natural voice, wider dynamic range, and much more musical
detail.
One will note a very
stable sound thanks to the very firm structures. Some developments based on the
acoustic dynamics point of view led us to realize the completely new structure.
It has brought us much higher quality of sound.

The Kondo IO-j comes with IO dedicated KSL silver
tonearm cable consisting of lead-out wires with female tips and phono cable.
