The Kondo designed
KSL-M7 preamps represent the embodiment of Kondo Audio Note Japan's
design philosophy, now with KSL technology.
There
are less than 20 components in the entire Kondo KSL-M7 Line preamp !
The majority of the
parts are Kondo designed and many, like the wire and coupling capacitors are
hand made in Kondo Audio Note Japan's factory.
Kondo's hand made
silver-foil capacitors and braided silver ground wire.
Tubes Used:
6X4 rectifier tube x 1
5751 x 2 for Phono
5687 x 2 for line stage
The output impedance of the Kondo KSL-M7 preamps are at approximately 1000 Ohms,
no feedback in linestage and Negative Feedback is employed only in phono
equaliser section.
Negative Feed Back was introduced in the phono equalizer stage to achieve
simpler circuit and less distortion.
Components packed in it of course include
our in-house made Silver Capacitors and new knowhow. We are convinced that we
have achieved new NF-Equalizer sound.
Silver Foiled Capacitor:
This determines the sound quality, and that is why this is
in-house made. It realizes a new sound world.

Non Cost Conscious DC Power Supply:
PSU circuit also influences sound quality much. Power supply
unit for Kondo KSL-M7 has especially been designed and engineered to
achieve solid low frequencies and clarity in sound.
Manual Wiring:
Unlike other preamplifiers made in pursuit of production
efficiency but with resultant disagreeable sound quality, the
Kondo KSL-M7
has been carefully and manual wired using our pure silver wires
just for the purpose of realizing best sound.
Silver Wired Power (Mains) Cable:
Power (mains) cable also affects sound quality. Note that our
cable is silver structure, too, for a realistic and rich sound
stage.
