Tears In Heaven - 12" from Rush Soundtrack

"Tears in Heaven" the blues ?   Definitely not, but the song "Tracks And Lines" conveys the blues feeling well, and is truly a sonic knockout.  The Rush soundtrack is superb, and one can appreciate it even better if one has seen the movie.  The downside is that the  soundtrack did not include Robin Trower's song "Bridge Of Sighs", which was heard in the movie.  At any rate, go hunt down Robin Trower's album of the same title !

Who are Diamond Head ?  Together with Motorhead, a major influence on Metallica's music - which was deemed as a cross between Diamond Head and Motorhead.  In fact, some songs of Diamond Head have been covered by Metallica - "Shoot Out The Lights", "It's Electric", "The Prince", "Helpless".  All songs are found on this album.
