A huge thanks to everyone who visited our room !
This year marked a change in our presentation, less slamming (we couldn't outblast the threshold-of-pain noise levels of the other exhibitors anyway), and more on showcasing system musicality, in our own simple definition of being able to at least move both our aural senses and emotions through music.
People's mileages may vary of course. In our case, we will not sacrifice the music in exchange for technically perfect hifi without soul.
We have also decided to play modestly priced gear mostly throughout the show, like our turntable combination, and hope that we have succeeded in highlighting the importance of matching instead of just price, which is secondary. |
Every year, we notice many visitors just hang out at the door, near the corners or with their ears near the wall. These are sonically bad places to listen to in any room, every well-experienced hifi enthusiast is aware of this. Take the opportunity next time and try to grab a seat away from the walls. We guarantee that we won't bite :). We know the room is usually packed, but there will be times where one can get a seat, provided one has the time to linger.
For those who considered our room as their favorite or one of their favorites, we are glad that you liked the demos, and we will always try our best next time around ... |
