TRON Electric

TRON Electric was created to build world-class valve amplification using the finest components available, with innovative design using very simple and elegant circuits.

TRON Electric Truly World Class

Since the introduction of the more accessible SEVEN range, interest in TRON has boomed, receiving international acclaim. As a result of this recognition, we are producing amplifiers of all kinds, including a new 211 based power stage, as fast as we can build them.

Having exhibited at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, the Stereophile Show and the CES, TRON has had to redouble their efforts to keep pace with the resulting demand.

Some of the world's leading audio manufacturers are now using TRON as their reference amplification.  TRON is proud to number TW Acustic and Frank Schroder among them.

Earlier in the year 2007, the TRON Syren and TRON Jubilate were featured in the Robb Report Collection (the Who's Who of luxury goods) in their feature "35 Great Machines" alongside Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ducati and Sunseeker .

TRON Electric Design Concept

The design criteria for TRON is quite simple: To build the best valve amplifiers and electronics in the world irrespective of price. To push back the boundaries of what's possible today and to redefine the performance of tomorrow. To do this, the best materials and construction techniques have to be used together with an elegant circuit design.

There is only one way this can be achieved and that is for the TRON products to be hand built.  Production based amplifiers / electronics, no matter how good they are purported to be, will never get close in performance to a bespoke hand built product. All TRON products are hand made and meticulously constructed. They are built to a specification and not to a price, hence they represent the very best available today.  Each TRON product carries a full five-year parts and labour guarantee.

Each TRON product is individually made to order and there is no production line.  Being hand built, each one is perfect.

Graham Tricker, TRON Electric Maker and Designer

Graham Tricker has been working with electronics (and specifically valves) for over thirty years. He was trained as a valve technician in the telecommunications industry in the golden era of electronics.

In those days everything was hard wired and Graham was taught to use the same thorough and rigorous techniques as used by the Ministry of Defence - "I know no other way" he says.

Graham has written books and articles on the subject and continues to act as a consultant. The mixture of this expert knowledge and Graham's passion for music is a recipe for something truly unique.  Graham combines mathematics with craftsmanship to produce a truly original audio instrument.

Each amplifier is hand built by Graham himself (the Cantata, for instance, takes over 110 hours to build), and each component is carefully selected and tested. Graham's philosophy is simple: In order to achieve the most pure, emotional sound possible, you have to do things properly, and this is exactly what he does.
