Graham
Tricker has been working with electronics (and specifically valves)
for over thirty years. He was trained as a valve technician in the
telecommunications industry in the golden era of electronics.
In those days
everything was hard wired and Graham was taught to use the same thorough
and rigorous techniques as used by the Ministry of Defence - "I
know no other way" he says.
Graham has
written books and articles on the subject and continues to act as a
consultant. The mixture of this expert knowledge and Graham's passion
for music is a recipe for something truly unique. Graham combines
mathematics with craftsmanship to produce a truly original audio
instrument.
Each
amplifier is hand built by Graham himself (the Cantata, for
instance, takes over 110 hours to build), and each component is
carefully selected and tested. Graham's philosophy is simple: In order
to achieve the most pure, emotional sound possible, you have to do
things properly, and this is exactly what he does. |
