Audio-Technica AT666EX Disc Stabilizer (Vacuum)  - for turntables

Superb condition, check out the photos.  One would think it was made only recently.  It is a vintage product no longer made.  Includes all original boxes and accessories.

What is the disc stabilizer ?  It is a special turntable mat that has vacuum hold-down properties which can be used anytime one wants to.  Excellent for warped records or for just holding the record stable.

It works as follows (you can refer to the photos as well where we made some comments).

• Place Disc Stabilizer on turntable.  Adjust VTA, alignment, all cartridge adjustments.  This becomes your mat.

• Put a record on

• Lock in the air switch (see photos page)

• Attach the air pipe to the Disc Stabilizer and to the Disc Stabilizer Suction Unit

• Hold down the record with the provided "spider" with one hand

• With the other hand, press the button on the Disc Stabilizer Suction Unit for about 5 seconds

• Voila !  Record is now held firmly in place by air

• Play.  Air will hold the record for about one whole album side

• Finished playing a song or the whole side ?  Now release the air (see photos page)

• Put another record on, etc.
